Rehabilitation is important to sustain prolonged spinal improvement. Dr. Novak believes this can be done without giving you a generic booklet of exercises and or stretches. By tailoring recommended stretches and strengthening exercises, the required time commitment decreases which results in considerably improved compliance.
The rehabilitation is typically three-fold:
- Discussed general home care guidelines to enhance healing and minimize aggravations
- Targeted stretches that are shown and explained
- Strengthening exercises that utilize the Theraball and/or Theraband
